Ah, I'm so happy right now. My first semester of college classes are almost done with A's in both subjects (so far, funny story, tell ya later), my dad ditched, I got my commission painting done, and I didn't get accepted into the NHS. Whew, big relief. (Nope, that's not sarcasm!)

So, classes are almost over, but my English class's final paper is freaking me out. The girl that sits in front of me just got a C on one of her papers because the topic was too broad, so when I spoke about my paper and topic with the teacher today she said to me the same thing she said to the girl who got the C "I grade on the writing style, not the topic itself." On the girl's paper, she showed me, it said that her writing was great, but the topic was bad. I just looked at the girl when the teacher said that and was like "oh...no. I am doomed..."

So, why would I be glad that my dad ditched me when he said he was going to take me out to get a new phone because our current service is unreliable? Because! I took that day to finish the painting commission that I promised the other girl who sits in front of me in English. Now I'll have $20, enough to buy MYSELF a Claire Demur CD from Best Buy. So happy!

Now, why the heck am I glad that I didn't get in the NHS this year when last year I wanted to be in it? Because! I have decided that I am faaaar too lazy to do all of the volunteer work that the position requires. I'll have to thank my math teacher for that, he's on the "election" committee and since he doesn't like me I can only assume that I have him to thank! That is the last time I'm pressured by people I don't like into signing up for things I don't want

Ah, and for the last few nights I have gone to bed and slept so deeply it was great. I think it's because I quit drinking caffine. Either way, ah happy holidays! To those who are Giving Thanks...In America! (Yes, that was an outdated Yu-Gi-Oh abridged reference <.< so sue me.)
